Research Study Immune Support To Covid -19

Dear Patients,

I hope this letter finds you well during this time of uncertainty. I am writing today to ask for your help.
Our office has been invited to participate in a national research project on COVID-19 and chiropractic
care. The theory we are studying is to see if chiropractic care has an effect on reducing the infection
rates and symptoms of coronavirus.

Throughout my career, I have maintained that receiving chiropractic adjustments, given at regular
intervals has an immunity enhancing effect on the health of my patients. Through reduction of stress to
the spine and nervous system, chiropractic care serves to enhance the entire body's function, including
immune function. This is the theory that will be researched.

If we are correct, then we should see a difference in infection rates for COVID-19 in our patients versus
the general public. Whether the infection rates turn out to be the same or not, the theory will also seek
to understand if the symptom sets (no symptoms, less hospitalization, ventilations etc.) are less.
Below is a link to the survey. It should take about 10 minutes to complete. It is completely anonymous
and participation is completely voluntary. Whether you participate or not will not affect our
doctor/patient relationship. If you have any questions, you may reach out directly to the researchers
at Life University. They can be reached at 770-426-2639 or [email protected].

Thank you for considering participating in this project. It is my sincere hope that you will take a few
moments to help us better understand how to combat this pandemic.

Thank you.
